I started this passport project as a challenge to myself and to learn the techniques and methods of secure document design. I created this fictional passport designed with custom logos and intricate moiré patterns made from scratch in Affinity Design. Motifs include the sigil of house Baratheon, the stag, the Iron Throne, and the house of the King’s family, “Ours is the Fury.”

As a freelancer, I was tasked with designing and illustrating vector-based characters for a 12-page colouring book by Satellos Biosciences, biotechnology company developing a drug to help treat Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy, a disease that primarily affects young boys. This colouring book helped engage clinical trial participants and helped explain the disease and what the trial aimed to achieve.

I was contracted by the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine (CASEM) to design, layout, and copyedit their 2024 Annual Report as a way to summarize their year to their members. This 20-page document included membership statistics, program and event recaps, and spotlighted member profiles.

As a Research Assistant with the Stem Cell Network (SCN) in 2020, I was tasked with researching, writing, and designing this 4-page info sheet about the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, what parts of the body it affects, and the research SCN was supporting to fight against the virus.
